Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use calgarveywindows.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom or other assistive tools.

What we aim for

We build this site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Here is what we have done on our pages:

• Text and buttons are checked for color contrast of at least 4.5 to 1
• Photos have text descriptions for screen readers
• Every quote form field has a label tied to it, the project type is a standard drop-down, and missing or wrong entries show a written message
• You can use the menu, quote form and photo gallery with a keyboard. The menu button and close button are real buttons, and Esc closes the menu and the photo viewer
• Pages work on phones, tablets and desktops, and when you zoom in
• Animations are turned off if your device is set to reduce motion

Known limits

Project videos we add may not have captions at first. If you need a description of any photo or video, contact us and we will provide it.
